Amazon EDS & Alexa Games
Lead creative direction and prototype initiatives for new devices and services. The prototypes were used to prove and test new forms of gameplay and interactive experiences on new services and hardware. These porotypes leveraged mixed reality, voice interaction, and smart home devices.
Amazon Astro Games
While working at Amazon Entertainment Devices and Services, my team was lead game development for Amazon’s first household robot, Amazon Astro. As principal design technologist, my role was to coordinate with the Astro design team, and creative direct & prototype three experiences. The prototypes allowed the engineers to focus on APIs and features, speeding up the development process.
Bunny Popper
I co-created this game. Our two person team designed the story, gameplay, characters, and the code for this iOS game. Apple featured it on the front page of the App store. It was a top 10 game in the U.S, and 5 other countries
AWS AR/VR
As Principal Design Technologist for Amazon Web Services, my role was to provide solutions, tools, and dozens of prototypes for enterprise customers leveraging AR/VR. In one such project, AWS partnered with NASA JPL to reconstruct the surface of the planet Mars and created an VR experience featured at the annual MARS conference in Palm Springs.
XR Puppet Toolkit
This suite of tools and components in the Unity game engine. It combines real-time performance using a Meta Quest with dynamic eyeblinks and physics simulations to quickly record, replay and edit motion on virtual characters. To see it in action, check out the featured series on LinkedIn
